Design and Model
Every project begins with constructability. Our in-house Tekla detailers coordinate directly with structural steel and concrete so openings and connections fit as designed. We start from the field and work backward: how the stair goes in, what barriers exist, how it interacts with everything around it, and how it gets into the building.
The hard work in design avoids rework in the field. Tough decisions, like splicing stairs to fit through doorways, are made up front, reducing install time and preventing schedule delays.

Fabricate
From model to machine, our Tekla driven workflows feed CNC automation for speed and precision. At the same time, our shop brings true craftsmanship to every weld and cut.
Fabrication is executed exactly as detailed, with strict quality control. Stairs are also packaged with the field in mind. The way pieces are bundled and shipped reduces install time and keeps erection moving smoothly.

Erect
McGregor owns the process from detailing to installation. Our erection crews work from the same coordinated plans used in design and fabrication, ensuring nothing is lost in translation.
